Food Porn: Chicken Parmesan

Hey fashionistas, those who know me know I'm always posting on Instagram left and right of any and everything I cook or bake .....trust me its fun and definitely demanded at home with my four children who no longer can settle for fast food sheeeesh.

Iqueenah's Chicken Parmesan recipe

6-7 boneless chicken breast

Season with salt,pepper, and garlic

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter

Lightly flour the chicken breast and in the pan it goes about three minutes on both sides

Sauce shouldn't take long at all ...

I used prego which is quicker

Add about 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1tablespoon of parsley

Stir and add the chicken breast into the sauce

Lastly add shredded mozzarella or your cheese of choice

And throw it over some spaghetti noodles/ add some garlic bread and waaaaahhhllllllaaaaaahhhh

Well she graced her appearance on the Miss Vogue Australia magazine cover. She looks very chic in this backless long-sleeved black dress with sheer black hat. She looks stunning !!!

Also her spread isn't over the top .....you go girl :)

Chinese Grandpa 72 years old Models

Browsing the latest Fashion news, I couldn't scroll past the headlines about this 72 year old grandfather who modeled his granddaughters clothing from her boutique. Actually some argued it being pretty awkward but my opinion its rather supportive.

According to Fashionista,He was helping his granddaughter unpack the clothing, and started giving advice on how to mix and match the pieces...According to Grandpa Liu sees no problem wearing women’s clothing.

Why unacceptable (for someone like me to wear women’s clothes)? Modelling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose. We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy.

9/11 Gone but Never Forgotten

On this day in 2001 was the most tragic day ever to view on television. I remember watching that moment in complete shock because in reality it was really happening and nooo it wasn't a skit or a what could happen movie. IT WAS REAL!!! and it hurts so bad knowing that these innocent Americans are no longer here because of hatred and revenge. I hope whoever lost someone on this day knows that they are all still here with us in memory forever and will never let this day pass without letting the world know that all those passed on September 11,2001 will never be forgotten :(

#1 Style Tips: Faux Fur Vest

I love faux fur vests !!! especially now that its getting very close to *Autumn/Fall* and we all know that for some reason Faux Furs never go anywhere on the Fashion radar. I recently went shopping and came across a FOREVER 21 burnt orange cheetah lined vest. What I love most about it is that you can style it many ways and not just feel you can only rock it out as a one-night wear then back in the closet to never be seen in the spotlight again.

How to wear it : rock a short/long sleeved sweater,dark skinny jeans or jeggings, Knee length boots, accesorize with a basic oversized leather clutch :)

Being a part of the Glamour at MBFW

I had the honor to intern this year for yet my third season at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC. My past seasons I was so excited to be apart of an experience of a lifetime working with  soo many memorable Designers fashion shows as far as Tadashi Shoji,Tommy Hilfiger,Lacoste,Anna Sui :)



 ohhhh I ran into Super Model Grace Bol today(seen below)but she was part of Angel Sanchez show :)

This season MBFW Spring 2013 I had the pleasure of meeting and working with designer Farah Angsana (evening wear).

 

I enjoyed working backstage with the models as well, they all were very polite and by the time the backstage crew put them together off they went to strut their stuff in this phenomenal collection suitable for red carpet paparazzi.

Favorites: Tracy Reese Spring '13

OK so here I must admit that my opinion of Tracy Reese is that she has a very intriguingly different and unique style that has stunned the fashion industry. Knowingly well known in the political eye of the fashion circle because she designs the most beautiful and artistic dresses for our first lady Michelle Obama. My jaw drops every time literally.
